This market located in Es Canar is one of the main multicultural spaces in Ibiza since 1973 and has over 400 stalls, live music, food trucks<\/em>, and a children’s area<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hippy Market Punta Arab\u00ed<\/strong>, the iconic little market of Es Canar, has inaugurated the 2025 season today with a great reception from the public, hand in hand withFERGUS Style Punta Arab\u00ed,<\/strong>the new establishment of this consolidated hotel group that will open its doors on May 15th. This market, which opens every Wednesday and is one of the main multicultural spaces of Ibiza since 1973<\/strong>, has more than 400 craftsmen<\/strong>,live music<\/strong>, a gastronomic space with severalfood trucks,<\/em><\/strong>and achildren’s area<\/strong>with face painting and workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nAt the official opening of Hippy Market Punta Arab\u00ed, the mayor of Santa Eul\u00e0ria des Riu, Carmen Ferrer<\/strong>, the first deputy mayor and city councilor of Economic Promotion, Finance, and Economy of the Santa Eul\u00e0ria des Riu City Council, Miguel Tur<\/strong>, the director of FERGUS Style Punta Arab\u00ed, Ra\u00fal Ariza<\/strong>, the CMO of Fergus Group, Cristina Salmer\u00f3n<\/strong>, and the president of the Hippy Market Punta Arab\u00ed vendors’ association, Avhempa, Paola Podest\u00e1<\/strong>, attended.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mayor of Santa Eul\u00e0ria des Riu, Carmen Ferrer<\/strong>, highlighted that “today is a day of joy because it is the first day of opening of Hippy Market Punta Arab\u00ed, a small market that is very important for the municipality and for the island in terms of tourism and economy because it is the oldest hippy market on the island.” On the other hand, the president of the Hippy Market Punta Arab\u00ed vendors association, Avhempa, Paola Podest\u00e1<\/strong>, stated that “the essence of this market has been maintained for over 50 years and this year we are very happy to see how it has turned out after a comprehensive reform that this space needed”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this line, the CMO of Fergus Group, **Cristina Salmer\u00f3n**, has explained that “from Fergus Hotels we are very happy to be here today, very close to the opening of the FERGUS Style Punta Arab\u00ed hotel, since a very important part of this hotel is that it houses within its streets this emblematic, iconic and large flea market, which represents a unique experience for us and for our customers.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This inaugural journey has been very well received by the public, many of whom are tourists, who have traveled through this great multicultural space enjoying the different stands, the proposals of their craftsmen, and the musical performances of Angel Wolf, DJ La Cat, Swingintonic Duo and Big Dez Blues Tr\u00edo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The market has also featured a large central tent with six food trucks offering a variety of culinary options for all tastes, and starting next week, it will open its new restaurants as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hippy Market Punta Arab\u00ed<\/strong> opens every Wednesday from 10:00 to 18:00<\/strong> during the months of May and October<\/strong>. From June to September its opening hours are from 10:00 to 19:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
